Trip to Knowsley Safari Park – A walk up to Darwen Tower + my outfit – Desperados for me, Kopparberg for Darren – My blue nails, remind me of Slush Puppies! – Making Oreo stuffed cookies today, very yum.
Sorry for the blogging absence, been very busy enjoying my Easter break! For once I haven’t spent the whole break being a little too lazy (although I’ve had my fair share of lie-ins!), I’ve been enjoying the sunshine.
Spent a day at Knowsley Safari Park, which was pretty cool. Not sure if I like it better than normal zoos, but it was really nice to be able to see the animals really close up and without the bars. My dad stroked one of the ostriches, which really freaked me out haha. They were very friendly but I thought it was going to peck his face or something! I swear I never used to be such a wimp.
Also had a nice walk up to Darwen Tower (which was built for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1868, and is currently missing the top part of it, woops). We took cake and ciders and enjoyed the sun.
Then there’s the Oreo stuffed cookies we made today… not much to say about those except YUM! But the recipe is here if you’d like to give them a go!
Hope everyone is enjoying the weather, Easter break (if you’ve had one!) and of course, THE ROYAL WEDDING which was lovely 🙂
